We have overhauled our GitHub integration to require less permissions for access to your resources. Unless you are using the GitHub deployments integration, Assertible only requires access to your email.
We are happy to announce that we have overhauled our GitHub integration to require less permissions for logins. Previously, simple logins required permissions to access public and private repository data for users who are not using the GitHub deployments integration.
Now, Assertible only requires access to your email to log-in and use Assertible.
Assertible only needs access to your GitHub repositories if you are using the GitHub deployments integration. The integration needs repository permissions to create repository webhooks for deployment status events. Assertible uses the deployment status events to trigger tests every time your API or web service is deployed.
